Gong Cha's Plum Green Tea with Pearl Jelly ($2.80) =D

Food For Thought... Again

I just went there last week but since I like the place, I chose it again for this week's brunch. Although all the tables were occupied by patrons when we reached the place, my friend and I was lucky as we got our table in 5 minutes. Indeed, the whole time we were there, the queue, if there was, was never too long.

House Works ($12). Basically the simpler version of what I had last week, Full Works, which had garlic mushroom as well as sausage.

Seafood Risotto ($18), quite nice.

Iced Latte ($5)

Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice ($5)

Passion Fruit Cheesecake ($7), sour and salty flavours dominated this cake, with a hint of sweetness mostly from the cheese.

Soup of the day: Sweet Corn Soup with White Bean ($10). I felt like I was eating blended corn.

Brioche French Toast with Burnt Banana, Strawberries & Smoked Bacon ($14)

'The Usual' with Scrambled Eggs, Crispy Bacon, Breakfast Banger, Mushroom, Basil Tomato & Sourdough ($16)

Smoked Salmon & Avocado with Poached Eggs, Ricotta on Sourdough ($15). I agreed with my friend when she said that if the dish was accompanied with hollandaise sauce, it would taste richer. Indeed. I felt that the ricotta and sourdough themselves are already salty. The eggs are not any help in balancing the taste. So in the end, we asked for some hollandaise sauce and our lunch became much tastier.

The Wrecked but Still Well-Loved Cupcake Chic

Never mind the ruined decoration, it still tasted as good as the first time I tried it, which was almost 2 years ago, the last time I went to KL. Food For Thought @ 8 Queen Street

Full Works ($18), falls in Breakfast menu which available from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Just wondering: Does anyone eat breakfast at 5 pm? I thought it was called tea time or early dinner. Anyway the food was good and also came in big portion. I am definitely going there again to try the pancakes and the pasta.
