A hearty conversation, a bar of milk chocolate, a jar of assorted cookies, an adorably decorated room, a good book, a romantic movie, a charming companion, a peaceful solitude, a shopping spree, a warm cozy day...a thousand little moments and things that make up a life.

Revisiting Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie @ Robertson Walk
Tomato & Crab ($16.50)
Marinara Spaghettini ($17.50). According to the menu, it was supposed to have mussels, scallops, squids, prawns but seriously I didn't find any squid in it.
Corn and Crab Chowder ($9.50)
Latte ($5)
Macaron Burger ($9.50) and Barcelona ($8.50)
For more on the menu (not updated on prices), click http://www.canele.com.sg/menu_rw.htm. The service has deteriorated and the staff were not attentive. Though there were only a few guests, they failed to notice that our glass was already empty. We had to call for it to be refilled everytime. This is really in contrary to my previous post (see http://theunwrittendeed.blogspot.com/2009/09/canele-patisserie-chocolaterie.html) in which I praised the service highly. The Macaron Burger was inventive though in terms of taste it was not outstanding. Barcelona was kinda of nice but not impressive either.
